After this Christmas classic song was banned from radio stations in November of 2018, Smash Mob responded with 3 new versions. One where the lady tries to get the man to stay, a woman tries to get her female friend to stay and one where a man asked his male friend to stay. We think that judging a 60-year-old song through today's lens is not a good precedent for our culture and shows a lack of understanding of what "art" and "culture" are and how they work. Not that Smash Mob thinks that the original version is objectionable, but these releases are to show the difference context makes.
